COVID-19: A message from Neil Douglas Lettings

We understand that the outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19 continues to present risk and worry to everyone. At Neil Douglas Lettings we are mindful of how we can help minimise the risk of spreading the virus, at the same time as continuing to provide as much as our normal service to landlords and tenants, as possible.

Whilst our office remains open, we are putting systems in place to enable our staff to work from home, if they need to. We ask you not to visit to office or attend any property appointments if you have any coronavirus, cold or flu symptoms.

We will be implementing further plans to enable us to provide more of our service virtually and hope to have further detail on this soon.

We appreciate that there will be a continued need for viewings and property visits in order to carryout essential maintenance and compliance. We will only arrange visits from people who have no symptoms, we will keep the length of the visit to a minimum and ensure good hand sanitation throughout. We will be working with our regular contractors to implement this.

Please tell us if you are self-isolating, or anyone in the household is particularly vulnerable so we can try and make alternative arrangements.

For tenants already scheduled to move in, or out, we will continue as planned. However, we will adjust our procedures by leaving the inventory with new tenants to review in their own time. We will also conduct the check out without the outgoing tenant present.

We appreciate this is an evolving situation and we will need to be flexible and adapt.  We aim to communicate any further changes in our service to you as soon as we can.
